The
Wedding Rehearsal
The
ceremony rehearsal is a very important part of planning your
wedding. Most Brides and Grooms find it very comforting to
meet with the entire bridal party and anyone else who is playing
a part in your big day for one full evening. The rehearsal
does not have to be formal. The first step is to make an appointment
with your Officiant. The closer to your wedding day the better
as all of the information will be fresh in everyone's mind.
Typically, the rehearsals are scheduled within the week of
the wedding. On the night of the rehearsal, everyone should
meet at the Place of Worship. Once the rehearsal begins, the
Officiant will pretty much take over the show. He/She will
guide you and your Bridal Party through the set up, entrances
readings and exits. It is wise to ensure that all reading
are issued to the appropriate people just before the rehearsal
begins. Chances are that the Officiant will instruct everyone
read their passages once over. Once the rehearsal is over,
it is a perfect time to go through any assigned duties and
hand out Bridal Party thank you gifts.
